NOTICE: All animals will be handled in a professional manner according to all Humane Handling Laws.
Your animal or animals will be inspected before and after slaughter according
to USDA Requirements. The inspector may, at his discretion, trim away part of the carcass or condemn all of the carcass if found to be unfit for human consumption.
Lehigh Valley Meats is not responsible for any animal or animals until they have been safely unloaded into our pens.
Lehigh Valley Meats will provide a secure corral for your animal or animals while they await slaughter.
If your animal or animals become sick, injured or dies before slaughter, Lehigh Valley Meats will not be held responsible.
NOTICE: Cattle 30 months or older may present a significant risk of BSE (Mad Cow Disease). If your cow is determined to be 30 months or older special handling and special charges will apply.
BEEF PROCESSING FEES:
$55.00 – Slaughter Fee
$75.00 – Slaughter Fee for cattle of 30 months
Cut, grind, vacuum pack, label, freeze and box, $0.72 per lb for USDA Inspected. (Based on hanging weight after slaughter.)
$0.70 per lb – Custom cutting and packaging $0.75 per lb – Split sides (quarters) EXTRAS:
$0.75 per lb – Chip Steak
$0.75 per lb – Hamburger Patties
HOG PROCESSING FEES:
$1.29 per lb (on the carcass weight) – USDA Inspected slaughter, cutting, smoking, sausage, vacuum pack, label, freeze and box.
$1.09 per lb (on the carcass weight) – Custom slaughter, cutting, smoking, sausage, vacuum pack, label, freeze and box.
$35.00 – Slaughter fee for hog carcasses below 150 lbs
LAMBS/GOATS PROCESSING FEES:
$75.00 (80 lbs and under) – Slaughter, cut, grind, vacuum pack, label, freeze and box.
$95.00 ( Above 80 lbs) – Slaughter, cut, grind, vacuum pack, label, freeze and box.
NOTICE: All animals must be delivered in a properly ventilated livestock trailer or truck.
USDA/Custom Slaughter Services for other Butchers BEEF:
$65.00 – USDA Inspected under 30 months
$110.00 – USDA Inspected over 30 months
Beef aging $5.00 per day, starting the day after slaughter.
All beef will be dental aged. They must also be identified when scheduling the
beef. They will be slaughtered at the end of the shift. If you are unsure of the age of your beef, please let us know
